I have a Master's degree in Educational Media and a Bachelor's degree in Art. Since 1970, I have been producing work instructions and educational media in the form of slide shows, graphics for publication and (for those of you who remember) overheads. Now I do all of that with software (PowerPoint, Photoshop, PageMaker, Dreamweaver, FrontPage and other applications). I follow a process theory of visual communication for years in the creation and delivery of educational media.
To these skills I have added project management, marketing communication, public relations presentations, tradeshow graphics and web site production. In addition, I have applied the DACUM process and Task Analysis to develop competency based training.
Cartooning is my favorite type of visual communication and I have been fortunate to use my characters in to slide shows and posters. Cartooning allows me to place special emphasis on specific communication desired by clients.
